TOP REASONS WHY PHIL SUESS IS NOT THE BEST CANDIDATE FOR THE MAYORSHIP OF WHEATON
A PSA FOR THE RESIDENTS OF WHEATON AND OTHERWISE
Trust is the pillar of any public-authority figure relationship, which can do wonders for the authority if they do earn it, and the opposite wonders if they end up breaking it. Phil Suess is someone well aware of that fact, which is why he has made all possible attempts to earn the trust of the masses in Wheaton, and used it to climb the ladder that led him to the Mayorship of the city of Wheaton. Being a small suburban city with a small population, trust is pretty much all you need to win such an office.
Realising that fact, Phil Suess earned as much of it as possible and ended up getting elected to the office of Mayor. Usually, you would have expected him to stop there and earn even more trust by working for the betterment of the city if he intended to climb the ladder further. But as a resident of the city and someone who has suffered at the hands of this liar because of my trust, I can testify that this person has been using that trust for all the wrong purposes.
COMING TO KNOW THE REALITY OF MAYOR WHEATON
My wife and I are highschool sweethearts, and have lived in Wheaton for most of our lives, apart from college and some other time away working in other cities. Both of us were born and raised in Wheaton, and our parents have lived here for most of their lives too. We were not the only ones that grew up with him or watching him, as pretty much the entire community did the same. The familiarity is exactly what he cashed on when he manipulated us.
Using the trust and his position as the Mayor of Wheaton, he endorsed real estate agent Tina Walters and con man Al Schefske who were conspiring to sell non-existent properties to the residents. Phil Suess approached families who had watched him grow up and had voted for him, including mine, my brother in law’s and my parents (who had nothing except their retirement savings to blow). He pitched the Walters x Al Schefske paper projects to us and, unaware of his true intentions, we agreed to invest.
HOW DID MAYOR SUESS’ SCHEME COME TOGETHER?
As the mayor of the city and a friendly acquaintance, I believed he had the best intel in town and was being sincere when he mentioned the aforementioned opportunities. I inquired a little but both my family and I weren't too wary of it as we knew that the man had to have the most reliable information as every investment opportunity and business in the city had to go past him to get approved.
We were pretty comfortable financially yet didn't really have money to throw around. Yet, because of his reputation and believing that he was acting in our best interests as the Mayor of the city, we went forward with it. All of us had invested separately and we're looking forward to enjoying the fruit of it when it multiplied in some time as Suess had promised. However, that never happened.
REALISING OUR MISTAKE
The plan originally was to make investments to safeguard the futures of our future generations, for myself and my brother and sister in law. My parents had also hoped for a more comfortable retirement when they invested their only disposable funds. but it all came crashing down when we discovered that the projects we had invested in did not exist at all. And not just that, Philips denied it shamelessly and blocked any means of word getting out.
I came to find proof that Phil,Tina Walters and con artist Al Schefske were directors in this non-existent project and where to embezzle the capital they had acquired in the name of investment equally. We as a family regret investing in that project to this day, just because we believed that the man we had all grown up around and with: Philip Suess, would be a better man than this. There is no prospect of getting your money back either.
